A sluggish blackberry phone needs to be hard reset by pulling the battery out and actually turning the phone off resetting all memory and what not..
The hard way of doing this is by actually physically opening the back cover and taking the battery out.. the shortcut (key press technique) is:
press and hold Alt+ right (aA) button+ Delete.
and if you are lazy (:P) then there is the QUickpull software...
which has a version 2 by now..
